PRECIOSA

The goal of PRECIOSA (Privacy Enabled Capability in Co-operative Systems and Safety Applications) is to demonstrate that co-operative systems can comply with future privacy regulations by demonstrating that an example application can be endowed with technologies for suitable privacy protection of the location related data of individuals. PRECIOSA will contribute to a common pan-European architecture with these objectives:

Trust models and ontologies for privacy
Communication verifiable architecture
Data storage privacy and verifiable architecture
Validated guidelines for privacy verifiable co-operative systems.

Latest News

January 2011: The PRESERVE project (Preparing Secure Vehicle-to-X Communication Systems) is a 4 year FP7 project which starts on January 1. It will combine the results of the projects Sevecom, Preciosa, Evita, and Oversee.

November 2010, Brussels, Belgium: The final review for PRECIOSA took place and thus concluded the project.

July 2010, Berlin, Germany: PRECIOSA presents the Privacy in ITS Applications Workshop. See the workshop Overview, Agenda, and Presentations & Biographies pages.

June 2010, San Jose, California, USA: At the conference on Computers, Freedom, and Privacy in a Networked Society, the panel on Intelligent Transportation Systems features 3 members of Preciosa.

April 2010, Syndey, Australia: A paper on conditional pseudonymity in VANETs is presented at the IEEE Wireless Communications & Networking conference.
